Hey, I'm Kay

I’m a mother of two who’s committed to helping other mommas and busy women create consistent physical and mental habits into their every day lifestyle. 

As a former Corporate Finance Project Analyst and work from home mom, I know just how difficult it is to find a routine that fits the working mom schedule.

How can we possibly prioritize our physical and mental health with our never ending to do lists?

After having my first child, I quickly realized I needed a more flexible approach to giving my body and mind what they need. 

The more I took care of myself in a healthy and productive way, a new perspective of motherhood and life began to unfold for me.

Short and effective yoga classes, meditations, and workouts to get your body moving and mind right. 

I know what it’s like to be burned out from all of the duties being a mother and building a career entails. I know what it feels like to be so far lost in the day to day tasks that my own physical and mental health got swept under the rug. I’ve struggled with feeling like “myself” (whoever that is). 

What I have found is that through a practical approach of the teachings of yoga and high and low intensity workouts, all of my needs could be met. 

Through the Homebody approach, the best possible version of yourself will begin to emerge. You will begin to notice that by being more intentional with your time and with priority of yourself all of your worries will diminish. 

As the foundation of your family, you deserve to prioritize your health. Your family needs the best version of YOU.

Our Story

Homebody started as a vision to spread the life changing knowledge learned by the founder, Kayleigh Jouben. Homebody was brought to life in 2021 - but it's origins stem back nearly 7 years ago when Kayleigh embarked on a life changing journey homeward to her Self. With a deep desire to understand life's challenges, Kayleigh began her Yoga journey as a way to cope with the mental effects of fertility treatments. After embodying Yoga on and off the mat, Kayleigh soon began to see life through a more clear lens. Homebody teaches the path that Kayleigh has walked to uncover the roots of our true nature, while giving our physical and mental bodies the attention they require. Homebody helps those who are experiencing a sense of disconnection from their self and society by heightening awareness of daily mental, physical and emotional habits to obtain inner peace.
